Meza Trophies and Plaques opened its doors in 1978 originally as a Sporting Goods Store. Mr. Fernando Gamez, owner and Air Force Veteran, along with his wife, Ethel, returned to El Paso, Texas, to retire and open Meza Sporting Goods. They worked with Deportes Meza in Juarez which was owned by Mr. Amado Meza, Ethel’s father. As the demand for trophies and awards grew in the area, Meza Sporting Goods became Meza Trophies & Plaques (1996).  For more than four decades, two generations of the Gamez family have worked to create unique award designs at a great price. Thanks to our loyal customers we now offer a long list of services to include:  Trophies, Plaques, Acrylic and Glass Awards, Academic and Sports Awards, Gifts, Customized Coins, Framing, Medals and Signage, Promotional Items, and Engraving Services. We pride ourselves in our workmanship.  We love doing business with a personal touch, which means providing fast and friendly service to accommodate our customers with their deadlines and budgets. Many clients have become our friends and family and we look forward to seeing them each year. We enjoy making a difference in our community and appreciate everyone who has continued to make Mesa Trophies & Plaques a success.
